PTU Tutorial - Gothic Steampunk

This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against my TOU's.

Supplies Needed:

Tubes of your choice. I used the art of Unholy Vault. You must have a license to use this art which you can get here: http://psptubesemporium.com.

PTU Scrapkit called Gothic Meets Steampunk from Ditz Bitz.  You can find this kit here: http://ditzbitz.weebly.com/index.html Thanks Brenda. Now Brenda’s kit is a full size Scrapbooking kit. I am going to resize to tagger size. I will show it as a tag, and a scrapbooking page when finished.

I used Mask #360 by weescotslass, which you can get http://weescotslasscreations.blogspot.com/

Font of your choice.

Plug-ins Xero – Greyscaler

Let's begin shall we.

Open new image as 600x600.

I used paper ditz_GMSskgr. Apply weescotslass mask#360. Merge mask layer visible.

Select ditz_GMS2a2. Resize to (400x397). Copy and paste to center of mask. Add a drop shadow.

Select ditz_GMS1, resize to (300x294). Copy and paste in the center of ditz_GMS2s2. Add a drop shadow.

Select ditz_GMS2a, resize to (100x96). Copy and paste one to all four corners of mask. Add a drop shadow to each one.

Select ditz_GMS2, resize to (200x566). Copy and paste twice. Using pick tool, make knives cross. Place in the center of tag. Add a drop shadow.

Select ditz_gmsp, resize to (100x104). Copy and paste to center of knives. Add a drop shadow.

Merge all layers, and add a drop shadow.

Select your tube, sizing will vary. Copy and paste to your tag. I copied mine to the right side of my tag. Add a drop shadow.

Go to effects, plugins, xero, Greyscaler. Play with the settings until you find the look you want, then apply.

Add name, url, copywrite and watermark.

Resize, to the size you want your finished tag to be.

Save as PNG.

And woohoo, you are finished!

Open a new image (800x800).

Select dizt_GMSsrddms, resize to (800x800). Copy and paste to new image.

Select finished tag. Copy and paste to center of paper. Add a drop shadow.

Merge all layers.

Save as a jpeg.

And woohoo, you are finished!
