PTU Tutorial - Steampunked Sweetheart

This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against my TOU's.

Supplies Needed:

Tubes of your choice. I used the art of Myka Jelina. You must have a license to use her art which you can get here: http://mykasgraphics.bigcartel.com/ . You will want to select a tube with a close up and a profile.

FTU Scrapkit called Steampunk in Aqua from Ditz Bitz.  You can find this kit here: http://ditzbitz.weebly.com/index.html Thanks Brenda. Now Brenda’s kit is a full size Scrapbooking kit. I am going to resize to tagger size. I will show it as a tag, and a scrapbooking page when finished.

Mask of choice. I used Vix mask362 , which you can get here: http://www.freewebs.com/vixpsp/masks.htm.

Font of your choice.

Plug-ins Xero – Bad Dream

Let's begin shall we.

Open new image as 600x600.

I used paper ditz_alkfo. Apply Vix mask#362. Merge mask layer visible.

Select ditz_aquatgs-2b, resize to (525x575). Copy and paste, behind finished mask.

Select ditz_897bi8nh, resize to (300x301). Place at upper left side of frame. Select again, and copy to lower right side of frame.

Select ditz_SPfowr9d, resize to (200x204). Copy and paste to upper left side of tag just below the gear you just placed. Select again, do the same to the lower right side of tag.

Select dizt_2ak1673, resize to (400x369). Copy and paste to center of tag. Add a drop shadow.

Select ditz_ajk079, resize to (400x400). Copy and paste behind the frame. Erase any excess paper you do not want.

Select your tube close up. Sizing will vary depending on your tube. I resized mine to (400x400) I did erase any excess that was showing. Add a drop shadow.

Select dizt_SPmisc1c, rotate right,  resize to (300x139). Copy and paste to upper right side of frame.

Select ditz_SPbowz1, resize to (200x143). Copy and paste to upper right side of frame, over key.

Select your profile tube. Sizing will vary depending on your tube. I resized mine to (600x600). Copy and paste to the left side of your tag.

Merge all layers.

Add a drop shadow.

Go to effects, plugins, xero, Bad Dream. Play with the settings until you find the look you want, then apply.

Add name, url, copywrite and watermark.

Resize, to the size you want your finished tag to be.

Save as PNG.

And woohoo, you are finished!

**Scrapbook Page**

Open a new image (800x800).

Select dizt_78512uio2689, resize to (800x800). Copy and paste to new image.

Select finished tag, resize to (700x700). Copy and paste to center of paper.

Merge all layers.

Save as a jpeg.

And woohoo, you are finished!
